How Bad Do You Want Success?

We’ve all experienced times in our life where we felt that we really wanted something. Perhaps it was a job promotion, or a new house. Maybe it was something that would contribute to our enjoyment in life. Something like learning to paint or playing the guitar.

The question is…

How bad do you want to succeed?

What are you willing to do yourself to make your dreams a reality?

Are you willing to get rid of your excuses?

My mentor, Robert G. Allen said, “When you really want something you’ll find a way. When you really don’t you’ll find an excuse.”

There are all sorts of excuses:

  • I don’t have enough time.
  • I don’t have enough money. (One I used to use a lot, and one I still fine myself thinking far to often.)
  • I just don’t have the right personality to… speak in front of people, to lead people, to sale products, to do that kind of work…etc… you fill in the blank.
  • My health isn’t good enough.
  • I don’t know enough about this…or that…
  • I don’t know how to set-up a website.
  • I’m just to tired after working a full day to do much else.

What’s the excuse you typically use?

What is the typical response that you tend to fall-back to time and time again?

Take a hard look at yourself. The decide how you can remedy that problem.

  • I don’t have enough money. How could you get the money? Could you partner with someone else? Could you joint venture with someone else? Could you start out smaller, and with less money, that you originally thought? Could you do much of the work yourself and save money?
  • I just don’t have the right personality to… speak in front of people, to lead people, to sale products, to do that kind of work…etc… you fill in the blank. Your personality is simply your point of view. Decide to change your view of yourself. Act like you already have the trait that you want and it will come. Get training if you need it.
  • My health isn’t good enough. I basically have one thing to say to this. People can accomplish a lot more than they think they can. I’ve had plenty of health problems and still accomplished a lot in the same amount of time, than the average healthy person does. I’ve seen people accomplish more in the last three months of their life than the entire ten year before, all because they were dying and they had a definite deadline.
  • I don’t know enough about this…or that… So learn. It really is that simple. Read a book, get a mentor. Attend a class. Become self-taught.
  • I don’t know how to set-up a website. Again, learn. It’s a learning curve, but certainly an easy task.
  • I’m just to tired after working a full day to do much else. I’m just going to unwind in front of the TV. This is simply a cop-out. Fill your day with meaningful and life changing activities. Sure you can have some days to simply relax, but don’t let this excuse rule your life.

My mentor, Robert G. Allen told us that he wanted to propose co-authoring a book with Mark Victor Hansen. Mark had been traveling a lot. So was Robert. They are both extremely busy men.

Robert was having a difficult time arranging an appointment to go over his book idea. Now you have to understand that Robert G. Allen is the type of person that doesn’t let circumstances stop him from accomplishing his goals. So this is what he did…

Robert called Mark’s administrative assistant and found out his travel schedule. Mark was booked for a trip to Canada. So Robert proceeded to find out Mark’s flight number and the seat he would be sitting in. Then he called and made reservations for the same flight and arranged for a seat next to Mark.

He boarded the plane and was able to pitch his book idea to Mark Victor Hansen on their flight to Canada. He then turned around and flew back home.

They wrote the book by the way.

Now that is doing what it takes to make things happen.

So again I ask you:

  • How willing are you to make your dreams a reality?
  • How bad do you want success?
  • Are you going to make your dreams a reality?

We Booked Our Airfare Today!

Wow. It’s been two weeks since I posted. My apologies to those who have been waiting for a clue in the Entregame. You probably are all wondering what happened to me. At least I hope you missed me.

We’ve just been really busy. We’ve been busy with BookWise’s switch to an affiliate program. We’re redesigned website etc. to reflect the new program. Plus we spent time outside fixing up the yard after winter. And we’ve been busy making summer travel plans.

My husband, and I are going on our first cruise next month. One of the steps I’ve taken to live life more fully. We haven’t been on vacation for years. In fact, Craig and I haven’t been anywhere other than a brief overnighter here and there since our honeymoon nineteen years ago. It’s about time we did, don’t you think!

Today we booked a one-way ticket to San Diego. Were not sure yet when we are coming back. We may stay and play some after the cruise for a few days.

We’ll be stopping at Ensenada, and Cabo San Lucas on our journey. The days spent at sea will be spent learning all I can from my mentors Richard Paul Evans and Robert G. Allen. They are actually paying for part of the trip as we won a good portion of it though BookWise.

The cruise seemed like a far off dream at this time last year.  Now it’s becoming a reality.  Believe in your dreams.  Decide to live life to the fullest.

What are you doing to make your dreams a reality?
Go out and make one of your dreams a reality.
Go ahead - take the first step right now!

Are You A Victim or Victor? Overcoming a Victim Mentality

If you are a regular reader of this blog you’ll know that I have been sharing some painful events from my past. I’ve been sharing my story with you, not to make you feel sorry for me, but to illustrate what I have learned in anticipation that the information will help others avoid the pitfalls I stumbled upon. Some people would read it and say, “Wow, she’s sure been a victim.” Not me.

Read on to see what I mean…

I’ve been reading the book “The One Minute Millionaire,” written by my mentor, Robert G. Allen and by Mark Victor Hansen. The book is full of millionaire ideas and teachings and in that way is an instruction manual on how to become an enlightened millionaire. At the same time it’s a novel that tells the story of a women named Michelle.

Michelle loses everything and comes in contact with a mentor who teaches her that each person is a potential victim. Everyone has had things happen to them that could bring them down. There is one trait that determines if we will be victorious over the circumstances we face. The ability to learn.

You see, a victim blames outside forces, or themselves for their circumstances. A victor learns from their experiences. I do not regret my past “negative experiences” because of what I learned.

A victor learns from their experiences.

That’s worth repeating. “A victim blames. A victor learns.”

You see, I am victorious. And if you don’t mind I’ll keep sharing the circumstances with you because I can’t wait to get to the victory stage of this blog where I share more of what I learned.

I highly recommend this book. I’m giving away copies of the book this week. To learn how you can get one, and get in on a series of Tele-Seminars taught by the authors, Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen go here. You don’t want to miss it.

Mentoring By Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen

I just have to share with you an incredible opportunity…

The One Minute MillionaireYou know the saying, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” I’ve told you about two of my mentors before, Richard Paul Evans and Robert G. Allen. What I haven’t told you yet is is just how ready I was for them to enter my life. You’d really understand if I had gotten around to telling you the rest of my story.

I’m bursting at the seams with excitement as my life has been forever changed because of the relationship I have developed with these two. The life-changing things I have learned since coming in contact with them could fill book after book.

Robert Allen has earned at least a million dollars from multiple sources, including through the internet, seminars, real-estate, investments, and many more. The information that is in this man’s head has changed thousands of lives for the better. Robert and Mark Victor Hansen are on a quest to help 1 million people become  “enlightened” millionaires through mentoring programs.

To help facilitate that…

Next Thursday night Robert G. Allen is starting to teach a series of four 1- hour weekly group mentoring sessions on the topic of The One Minute Millionaire.

It could be life-changing, but only if you take advantage of the opportunity.

By the way, Mark Victor Hansen, author of the Chicken Soup series of books, will be on the line as well on the 15th of next month. Mark Victor Hansen has sold more non-fiction books than any other author (except the religious books, such as the Bible).

Make Your Dreams a Reality - Get a Mentor

Richard Paul Evans and Robert G Allen with Leisa WatkinsI recently spent the most wonderful life-changing weekend with my mentors Richard Paul Evans and Robert G. Allen. I walked away with pages of notes and life-changing ideas that I can implement right now. But that’s not usual whenever I learn from these two.

For those of you who many not be sure who they are here is a little background info:

Richard Paul Evan is a highly successful New York Times best-selling author and a very successful business man. He has a string of eleven New York Times bestsellers. His books have sold millions world-wide and have been published in many different languages. He has coached many to success. He specializes in life changing ideas, coaching writers and in financial coaching.

Robert G. Allen is one of the world’s top financial advisers. He has 13 mega best-seller books on money and has made over a million dollars in various marketing arenas including the stock market, real estate, the internet, direct mail, seminars, and many more. He had dedicated his life to helping people become enlightened millionaires by teaching them not only how to earn money, but to do it in an enlightened way in both receiving and giving back. He went from riches to bankrupt. He learned from his mistakes and went on to make millions again. He wants to help others avoid the same pitfalls he did. I’m going to learn all I can from both him and Richard.

The first day I got the chance to learn from not only Richard and Robert but also Dan McCormick, author of Lessons From Great Lives. Dan taught us methods we can use to learn from the great lives of those before us.

I’ll be sharing much of what I learned from them with you throughout the coming weeks.

I learned ideas that will not only make me a lot of money, but ideas that will transform my life forever, and the lives of those around me. Ideas that have made me a better person. Ideas that have changed the way I think. Ideas that are catalysts for change.

What’s incredible amazing is that I didn’t have to pay thousands for the opportunity (and it is truly worth thousands) because it was all part of my BookWise experience.

If you’d like to be mentored by these two men I highly recommend you take a look at BookWise. Get mentored by millionaires. If you have ever thought about starting a home-based business you’ve simply got to check it out! It is a life-changing, life-transforming business.

Dream your dreams, act on them, plan your future, and believe in yourself. You’ll never regret going for your dreams! You’ll never regret making them a reality. Find a mentor and work with someone who can help make your dreams come true.

Clue on the Who Am I? EntreGame Mystery Blogger for round five: Stop Discriminating

You Are the Sum of Your Five Best Friends

You know how your mom used to tell you not to hang out with the wrong crowd? It’s because she knew what successful people know. Your life is the sum of your five best friends.

Who are you hanging out with?
Are you hanging out with successful people or complainers?
Are you hanging out with people who are going places or with those who are content to simply exist?

Take a step today to develop a relationship with someone you admire and someone you can learn from. Maybe that first step is to pick-up a copy of their book and learn from their writing. Maybe that first step is talking to them when you see them. Maybe it’s posting a comment on their blog. What ever it is - do it!

P.S. - the clue in the EntreGame Round 4 is: some enchanted evening.

I Dreamed of A Rare Blue Flower and Acres of Wheat

I usually don’t post more than once a day. However, I felt I should tell you all about a dream I had last week.

Field of Wheat

I was standing in our garden looking at a huge blue flower. It was absolutely exquisite.

I was conversing with a man on about how beautiful it was. All I saw was his hands cupping the petals. Than man told me the flower was extremely rare.

I looked up and noticed that the flower was in the middle of acres and acres of wheat and that the wheat was healthy and strong.

But then I looked and saw desolation… (more…)

A Mentoring We Will Go

Thanks for stopping by.

I’m off for a couple of days to spend some time with a couple of my wonderful mentors. So don’t be discouraged if I don’t return a comment right away, or drop an Entrecard immediately. I’ve got software that will track your Entrecard drops and I’ll be busy when I get back dropping card on everyone.

The Who Am I? EntreGame will return on Monday as well.

I’ll take good notes so I can share much of what I learn with you.

Coincidence? I Don’t Think So!

Salomon running shoesRemember my post about prosperity and the principle of giving? I encouraged you to go ahead and give something away. Well it’s been just two days since I wrote that post (maybe three by the time this is published) and I received several blessing today that I just had to share with you.

You see today was a good day. I received two checks from BookWise (for more than expecting), and no bills in the mail. Plus I learned that I won a pair of Salomon XT Wings Trail Running Shoes (valued at over $120.00) and a Polar Feet: Pink Martini Fleece Socks from Polar Feet at the Outdoor Retailer Show that was recently held in Salt Lake. So overall I think today went very well.

  • Was this simply my lucky day? I don’t think so.
  • Was it a coincidence? I say not.
  • Was it God and the law of attraction at work and I attracted to me more than I gave away? Yes, I believe so.
  • Do I give simply so I can get in return? No. I give because I want to bless others.
  • Do I love the serendipitous nature of this all? Yes!!!
