We’re Changing to a New Look Fitting With Our Theme

Yesterday I asked you all about my Entrecard and what I could do to improve it. Some of the comments got me thinking about what I could put in my banner that would be more fitting with the blogs theme and I decided to change the look of the blog.

I’ve still got to change some of the blog’s coloring to be more fitting with the new banner, particularly the accent colors and the header text. But this is a start.

So what do you think or it and the new Entrecard?

Here’s the old banner:

Here’s the new banner (without a pending change in coloring for the text):

New Banner for Blog

No wait. It’s to masculine now. I love red. So let’s see…

What about this:

New Red Banner for Blog

Yes, that’s more fitting with me. But I’ve got to now adjust all the blog coloring. But it’s 3:00 in the morning and my kids will be getting up soon. I better get some sleep. So don’t laugh at the ugly color combination. I’ll fix it.

And my new Entrecard:

Chart Your Course EntreCard

No make it this one: (thanks to some advice my Matt Urdan)

What do you think?

Oh, by the way here’s another clue:

EntreClue

The Mystery Blogger recently talked about changing her blog’s look. But she’s not going to do it until some guesses the blog because there is items in the image clue that would no longer be there.

See the sidebar for additional clues.

I have to say, I think the first 2 fit the site colour scheme better. Of them all, I prefer the 2nd one.

I really like the new Entrecard advert.

Thanks. I agree they fit the sites colors better. But I will be changing the sites colors to match the new header.

I really do love the rustic look, and the map. But when I got it published it looked so masculine that it just didn’t seem to fit the personality of the blog, and my personality as much. Strange as I really do love the look.

I have another blog in mind that I think I will use it for. In fact, I think it would be perfect for it.

I like the new ones! They are nice and clean, with good, clear contrast between the text and background. Much easier to read, and the compass is easy to recognize and understand. I like red, too! :-)

Great work! I really love the new graphic on the entre card with the slogan Chart Your Course….That’s intriguing, and I would click on that. Now, why don’t you take out the name of your blog from entrecard? There’s a lot of text in there and the message is confusing. Chart Your Course is nice anc clear and concise. You don’t need your name of the blog in the entrecard. I just use the initials on mine..MTMD. I don’t have room for Meltwater. Torrents. Meanderings. Delta. Take out your text, make the compass bigger, leave Chart Your Course!

Well done!

Thanks Matt. I agree for the most part. I really do want the other text on there because those are the words that people often use to link in to me so it’s a matter of branding. But I do like it smaller at the very bottom.

I really like this one. How about you? What about the change above?

I love the red designs. Red is my favorite color too.

Love your blog!
